Grooves Only

ZDJ Drum Samples is a project initiated by Mumbai based producer/engineer, Zain Calcuttawala, and drummers, Dhir Mody and Jehangir Jehangir.

The idea was to go into the studio and record some fresh new samples that they could call their own. So, over a span of two days at Cotton Press Studio, they recorded over 150 grooves of different styles on two different drums kits; plus one-hits on various drums and cymbals. Seeing the interest it garnered amongst their peers they decided to go a bit bigger and bring the samples to as many people as they possibly could. Enjoy this set of indie curated drum samples (includes only grooves).
