Is Tonalic AI?
No. Tonalic uses real studio recordings adapted with adaptive musical intelligence built on Celemony’s DNA technology.

Do I need to know chords?
No. Tonalic includes a chord assistant and can analyze MIDI chord files.

Is this royalty-free?
Yes. All Tonalic content is 100% royalty-free in all commercial uses.

DIFFERENCE between Arranger and Studio Editions
Both editions, arranger and studio, access the same content library. The arranger edition is (as the name would suggest) designed primarily for purely arranging tasks, whereas the studio edition also contains sound processing functions as well as allowing you to edit the Tonalic output. On the Refine page, which is reminiscent of Melodyne, you can edit the voice leading, as well as the pitch, timing and amplitude of each individual note. This allows you to resolve minor problems, such as any voice leading conflicts that might emerge with the vocals.
