Lineage Percussion contains a comprehensive selection of orchestral percussion, making it the only library composers need to bring hard-hitting, versatile and dynamic percussion to their projects. Covering essential elements from Timpani and Snare Drums through more obscure, harder-to-find options like Anvil and Tubular Bells, to custom-made combinations like Melodic Shimmer and Big Drum Ensemble, this is the last word in percussion libraries.

Lineage Percussion features 100% new recordings and an engine that’s been rebuilt from the ground up. It’s our most ambitious library yet.

For digital composers, the star of the show is Adaptive Sync, ProjectSAM’s technology that keeps crescendos, rolls and swells perfectly in time with a project, even through multiple tempo changes. And because this is ProjectSAM, also included are pre-rolled crescendos, multiple positioning options in the virtual concert hall, and incredibly performable instruments and kits.

It’s your stage
With XY Stage mode, you can position each instrument into your desired place on the stage. Back, front, far-left, far-right, and anywhere in between. The Premixed option lets you run with our exquisitely engineered setup, while the Custom Mix lets you blend level and panning between Close, Stage and Far mics, plus the Premixed feed mentioned before.

Mapping Selection
Choose the articulations and keyswitch settings that work for you, and gain more control over the sound and performance of an individual instrument. Determine how an instrument responds to velocity and modulation wheel settings, and select the Round Robin behaviour for repeating notes. The Note Stacker lets you layer multiple tonal sounds into intervals or whole chords.

Adaptive Sync
Don’t waste time lining up your crescendos between instruments. With Adaptive Sync, rolls match with a project even through multiple tempo changes. It’s all powered by ProjectSAM’s most extensive set of recordings yet.
